A Modern Classic in Cherry Creek

Elegant architecture meets everyday warmth in this layered, livable home.

Nestled in one of Denver’s most iconic neighborhoods, this Cherry Creek residence blends timeless form with modern function. Classical elements like columns, arched windows, and exposed beams are balanced by clean lines, tailored millwork, and fresh material choices.

Meg Jonsen was brought in to refine the interior experience helping the home feel cohesive, personal, and beautifully livable across every room.

Project Highlights

Living room with large arched windows, white sofa, armchairs, fireplace with built-in shelves, wooden beams on ceiling, and decorative items on shelves.
Entryway with a wooden arched front door, a stone wall on the left, a white wall with framed artwork, and a built-in cabinet with a black countertop. A chandelier hangs from the ceiling, and a patterned rug covers part of the wooden floor.

A Grand Yet Inviting Living Room

Formal symmetry, layered textures, and collected details give the main living space both presence and warmth. Framed by existing arched windows and custom built-ins, the room is grounded in natural tones and accented with art, textiles, and existing furnishings.

Seamless Transitions Across Styles

Throughout the home, Meg guided subtle transitions between traditional and contemporary. Whether it’s the sleek kitchen cabinetry meeting reclaimed beams, or modern lighting set against a classic layout, each element supports the whole.

Elevated Everyday Moments

From the tailored kitchen to the wet bar and built-in dining cabinetry, Meg’s design ensures that even utilitarian moments feel refined. Natural woods, high-contrast stone, and soft lighting come together to create functional spaces that still feel special.
